Help Is On The Way: Environment Art

This is a showcase of the environment art I created for my team’s final student project, Help Is On The Way.

I modeled, UV unwrapped, textured, lit, and set dressed all 17 rooms for our final project within a tight 4-month deadline. Every room shell and set dressing element was crafted with care, with the intention of expanding the world of Terra Thrive — a brutalist, retro-futuristic egg harvesting facility on a distant moon, and the comedically evil corporation at the heart of our game.

My goal was to showcase the day-to-day operations of Terra Thrive and convey the massive scale of its facility. While building each space, I considered the micro-story every room could tell and how it fed into the larger narrative. I focused on shape language to reflect the purpose and tone of each area, and used color to reinforce themes and subtly guide the player’s movement through the environment.
